Tamilnadu's main opposition leader J Jayalalithaa has charged the DMK administration in the state with poor governance.
She addressed a huge rally in the city of Coimbatore Tuesday morning.
Two weeks ago the city hosted the World Tamil Conference organised by the state government run by Jayalalithaa's bitter rival - the DMK party.
Jayalalithaa - who served two terms as chief minister of the southern state, hinted that Chief Minister Karunanidhi was only concerned about his family and not the state.
Jayalalithaa's speech at the rally was broadcast live by Jaya TV, which propogates her political stand.
