Virgin Mobile, global telecom giant has entered in partnership with Tata Teleservices Limited

Virgin Mobile, global telecom giant entered in partnership with Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) to launch value-added-services (VAS), including voice services in parts of South India.

Virgin mobile has priced voice calls at 20 Paise per minute and local calls to other networks at 40 Paise per minute. STD calls to other networks cost 50 Paise per minute.

 “Virgin wants to explore the vast GSM market in India which adds around 1.5 Crore subscribers every month,” said Sir Richard Branson, the Chairman and Founder of the Virgin Group.

The service will be available in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Chennai, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
